Hi   2001 Fatboy. I just bought a set of HD bags Part number 88286-07 and detatchble docking kit Part No 88256-07 thinking i  would be able to detach bags when not wanted, No such luck as the bags have fixed mounting points. I have detachable back rest side plates and the only way i can see of fitting is to get longer bolts, keep the docking points for the plates and bolt the bags on last. Might be Ok but will mean i have to  remove fender bolts and replace with original ones every time i want them on or off. Real pain in the arse for cleaning etc .I checked out the Easy bracket and Ghost bracket sites, Ghost look the goods but i still want to have my original dicking points for the back rest and luggage rack when needed. Anyone have any thoughts on the Ghost brackets and is there a local (Aus) dealer i can contact?

Thanks Pizzlin, have checked out site ,seems to be what i want, will have to ring them , web site is totally unfriendly to use ,makes it hard to spend a dollar Anywhere on the East Coast may stock them ?
