Dyna wiring connector - where is it?

    Evening all...

Apparently all the handlebar wiring on my 2006 Super Glide terminates somewhere under the fuel tank, and I should be able to disconnect the switch & indicator wires at that point, so that I can thread them thru my new Ventura bars and then re-connect.

I've done handlebar wiring before on a Sportster but on that occasion had nice high risers to allow soldered splices under the bar clamp. It was still a bastard of a job that I swore I'd ne'er do again....but, famous last words and here I am again!!

Before I consider the hassle of draining & removing the tank, can anyone confirm that's the right place to find the connector, or would it be further back (under the seat. maybe?).

Thanks for the prompt info, guys.
Dazza, don't understand your reference to "split" - do you mean the large plastic plug is split? Or the wires for left and right?

I just realised I'd rather not remove the tank, since it will still have the fuel line to the motor attached. If I undid the front tank mount bolt, can I lift the tank enough to get to the wiring?
