    Hi there

Here's another vote for EagleRider. I just got back after a 16 day tour of the West with EagleRider. I was on a RoadKing but others had heritage Softail Classics, Street Glides and Electra Glide Ultra Classics and a couple of Limited's. Only non HD machine on the tour the latest 1200 BMW shat itself after 3 days and not one HD missed a beat for 4500K's

    Cheers

Myself and two friends hired bikes from Denver Eagle Rider for this years Sturgis Rally. We had the bikes for 8 days and paid about AUD 1600 with all insurance on offer. From memory it was about USD 112 a day. I found Eagle Rider OK although I woulf recommend to thoroughly inspect the bikes before departure as we only got 40 mile out of denver and my mates hired Fatbobs rear wheel bearing packed it in. This was about 10am, we made numerous calls to Eagle Rider and they eventually bought a replacement bike to us at 6pm that night. Needless to say we were pissed off. We hit them up for a free additional day at the end of the trip and they agreed. Had a nice ride up through the Rocky Mountains so not all bad. The tourers were the same price as the Dynas and Softails, ya IMO ya cant beat a tourer for that kinda riding. A tip, the day you pick up your bike from Eagle Rider try to get there an hour or more before they open as in our case maybe 30 to 40 other riders turned up to get their bikes with only 2 staff manning the desk. We were number 2 in line but some of those poor bastards lined up for hours. I hired a Street glide, had my ipod plugged into its cigarette lighter for charging and also plugged into the ipod jack on its stereo, cruising up the highway with great tunes blasting out, thru incredible countyside, ya gotta do it!!!

Another point is that being Sturgis week they bring bikes in from all over the country as its "The bike week" of them all if you are going to book I would do it asap otherwise you may not get the bike you want or maybe no bike at all

We got 8 bikes this year from Eagle Rider to do a 5K mile round trip from Seattle through Canada, Sturgis and back.
My bike had 43K on it when we picked them up, was due for a service and had to put 2 ltr of oil in it.
Another bikes brake pads were shot, anothers starter was cactus.
One bikes clutch went the next day and anothers rear bearing went 2/3 the way through.
Other than that they went alright, mine went better after running some injector clean in a tank of gas.
I'd use them again but would want a newer bike and serviced.
Check them over mechaniclly before taking off, better safe than sorry.

I actually don't recommend EagleRider due to an issue I had with one of their branches years back so even though each branch is privately owned in the franchise, they'll never see another dime from me. Depending on where you are flying into, I may have some suggestions, but most Harley Dealers offer rentals at competitive rates. As mentioned by someone earlier. I'd recommend you book way in advance as when Sturgis is happening rentals become real scarce for several states around, as well as places to stay. If you're going in a group I'd also suggest you look to rent a house in Deadwood as it's near the action, but far enough away you can get some rest. If you need some help, give me a shout.
