G'day a question for those of you who might know I own a 2004 XL1200R the bike is already fitted with aftermarket slipon mufflers I don't know what brand they are I can't find a makers make on them but they sound shit hot so I am now thinking of adding a K&N air filter to my bike and I know I will have to get it rejetted yes it is a carby model but what I don't know is what this mods will do to my fuel economy at the moment I can get over 200 ks on a tank full of gas it's the 12 lt peanut tank and I know extra power means using more fuel but the worry is how many ks will I loose Sportsters are still a heavy bike to push if I run out of fuel.

I think I have a problem then, because my XL1200C has Screaming Eagle exhaust, Stock air cleaner and I am lucky to get over 80 KM's of city riding off a 10Litre fill up. That is city riding though and I ride kind of hard.
