How do I darken LED turn lights?

    Hi all,

My Rocker-C has rear LED turn lights. The front ones I replaced with the smoked signals which look lots better. I have heard that there is some 'magical' spray that can darken the rear LED turn lights....anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

I'm wanting to do the same on mine...

A spray painter told me that it's not sold in oz any more and you have to spray the inside of the covers otherwise it comes off very easy.

Mine are sealed so I can't spray them

Thx Ray but that still leaves the lights looking very 'orange'?

Thx Phantom...looks like that might do the trick....what would you expect to pay for a job like this?

If you look around you might still be able to buy a can of "VHT Niteshades", but it is being taken off the market. I got a can at my local Auto Pro a few months back, but what he had left in the shop was all there was. You may find a shop with a can still in stock.

It is best to spray it inside the lens if possible but as with my tail light, this is not possible so spray it on the outside.

Remember, you only need a couple/few even coats, depending on how dark you want to go. It will appear to be "speckly" up close, thats normal.
