Has anybody out there installed a T-Max in a fatbob?Well don't bother cause it won't Fit.After finally removing the fuse blocks ect ect  [wich is no mean feat let me tell ya]  and removing the carrier and ECU, I did the little mod to allow the t-max to slide in to the cradle and I discovered that when installed there is no room to allow the data cable to be left connected when re-installing,situated directly below is another module type thingy,so I can see no way of being able to fit the bastard with the cable connected. Please someone tell me different.Anybody fitted one to an 08 mod dyna??On the flip side is I fitted a set of  V & H BSS and they are a pleasure to work with!cheers

Mate, the other module thingy is more than likely the alarm. You can either re-locate the alarm or do what i do, slide the alarm module out rear wards, plug your cable in, do what ya gotta do, disconnect cable and slide alarm module back in. I know its a pain in the arse fuck around however, it works. Hope this helps ya some.

Brett. It is a hassle thats for sure. It would be good if Zippers made a 90 degree plug that would fit with our alarm modules in place.... sounds like a great after market project for the electricly inclined. Better still if the plug, plugged in on one end as opposed to underneath...

I totally agree,I just wish I was mechanically minded enough to do all repairs myself. Anyway I'll keep trying,at least I don't have to pay for servicing costs and I'm gonna do everything I possibly can myself. Seems like it has always been part of the reason for owning a bike for me anyway. Also seems strange to me that all my other bikes have been carbed bikes and now when I buy my first Harley I'm learning about Fuel Injection and ECM's etc.

Yeah thats true RT/Scotty but with all the blunders that have been made on my bikes over the years by so called experts what have I got to lose??
