Facebook like button on threads

With more and more people using Facebook I came up with the idea of putting a Facebook "Like" button on threads.  You'll notice it next to the "Add Replay" and Rating links at the top of each thread.

Clicking on the like button will post a link to that thread in your Facebook page.

Gotta keep up with the kids!

Not everyone is into facebook, I've got an account that I don't use.  But going forward it's a good way to cross promote the site.  We'll see how it goes for a while and if the benefits are there I'll keep it going.

I'll do some more work on it in a while as I know you automatically make it post images and text from the forum onto facebook etc.

Love it, now I am going to tweet about it, is that what you call it? you either embrace technology or you hate it. I take photos on the iphone while we are out riding and post straight to Facebook that a lot of mates in other states get to see and visa versa.

I prefer lamebook. Problem with facebook is the sad c*nts at school that now wanna be friends just to increase their friend counter or whatever it is.

I do agree with others though, it is a great way to keep in touch with friends interstate or overseas. It must be a cool thing between old folk to dismiss technology and the interwebs, just like they all pull their white socks up with their sandals on. Then again I'm not big on kids with their pants hanging half way out their arse either.

I was going to hit the facebook link for this thread but if I do that people are going to see how many whining hypocrisy filled HD owners are out there. Fuck KC, get rid of the damn Facebook "OPTION" button, it links to part of the Internet and we just cant have that!!
