O2 Sensors and TTS

I'm going to order the TTS for my 08 FatBoy. Engine and whatnot are stock. Well, a stock replacement K&N filter. Only Bags/Windscreen/and light mods done so far. I have 25,000 miles (40,000 Km) on her.

Read that the O2 sensors wear over time, and then go bad. Question is, with 25k miles on the bike, should I also just go ahead and get new O2 sensors at the same time, or wait till I have the TTS and see what it reports back irt the sensors?

Would be a bummer to hook up the TTS and then have to wait for new sensors.

    Cheers,

    Ray

OK, I'll wait and see what the TTS says about the sensors.

As for the product, agree. I will most probably not be dissatisfied. I do not see people moving away from the product. I do see users hopping around amongst the other products, and that those who come to the TTS appear happier with the product than they were with others.

I also appreciate the support Doc1 and Steve Cole have provided for the product from even before Day 1. I have read all the way from the beginning in the HDForums (USA one) till they were inexplicably banned from there and have followed them here. At least Steve still is around.

I have an e-mail off to Doc1 regarding getting set up and hope to hear from him soon, probably shortly after the sun comes up over there anyhow.

    Cheers,

    Ray

The stock O2 sensors going bad will show up in a Datamaster datalog when your looking at them. They should switch high/Low, high/Low and if they hang on one side or the other then they are most likely going bad. Funny thing is they are the longest lasting of the various O2 sensors being used today. I would not worry much about them until you hook up and see what's going on.
