Good day all

I have a 2008 fatty that has an alarm problem at the moment.

Mostly when it is cold i go to move or get on the bike the alarm will give a single beep. Occasionally it will beep once every couple of seconds maybe two to four times.

Or it will sound the full alarm for say 10-20 seconds. This is bloody annoying especially first thing in the morning going to work. If the sound of the exhaust does not piss the neighbours of the alarm will.

I have a fob with me all the time or will have both with me but it still happens.

Any one have this problem or know what the F.. is happening.

Flattening batteries or something stupid going on.

Any ideas would be a great help or a visit to the workshop will be needed.

sounds like fob battery they last around 3 years before needin replacing

ok went out to the finger burner with the fob turn key on beep beep then alarm goes off
get second fob and all is good
change batteries in first fob and its still doing the same thing beep beep and the alarm goes off

After having a bit of a run around to find someone that had the batteries in stock, the problem seems to have been fixed.

One FOB does still cause a single chirp from the alarm first thing in the morning for some reason.

Alls good.
