Monday I swapped my thundermax for a TTS I didnt do it myself I got a dyno tuner to do it for me

all I can say is - 'that your all right about this unit'

just a couple of quick things that I found the bike is a lot smoother down low which makes for easier gear changes - is what I noticed 1st up as I have a 2008 fatbob which is rubber mounted

it made about the same horse and torque as the thundermax which is roughly 76hp and 90 torque

his comment dont worry about that though - its what its doing leading up to it

after it was all tuned in he took it for a ride - his comments was that would be one of the fastest standard dyna I have ever riden and the throttle response was excellent

which made me feel pretty happy for spending the dollars

I run V&H big shot staggers and V02 intake and now TTS

    Slugger,

Nice to know you have it sorted mate. I dropped a map onto my bike the second week after I picked it up. New pipes, and air kit and the new map, and it ran bloody great from the get go. I think the bike had about 500ks on it when I did it, and it rides and pulls like a beast. I have not done any Vtunes or Dynos yet, as the bike just clocked 2000ks. It not long had its first service, and with the warmer weather coming, it might be time soon.

ALTHOUGH - that said - I really have no reason to do anything to it. It runs beautifully. Never stumbles. Never pops on Decel. Pulls as hard as. The plugs are a really nice greyish colour.

So if it aint broke don't fix it I reckon.

I will do some data runs so at least I can see what it is doing.

I went on a big 576k round trip the other day and it was faultless.

    Good luck mate.

    Cheers

SOONY D - sold !!! thundermax on ebay on the weekend for literally $6 less than what I paid for the TTS sorry about that - honestly mate you would be better off with the TTS dont get me wrong the thundermax worked very well for me but the TTS is a far better unit

at the moment you would probably get one from M&N cycles in the states within about a week for about $450-$460 delivered to your door

    Hey mongrel,

Thinking of changing from SEPST to TTS but undicied at the moment.

Just a few questions about your build.

    1. What pipes do you have?
    2. It is a TTS you are using??
    3. Which map did you use?
    4. How long can you record a VTune?
    5. Have you ever had any engine knock (pinging)?

Read lots of good comments about TTS but if I can achieve the same with the Super Tuner I might stay with it.

Although I had a read of the Tuning Guide I downloaded from TTS site and I like the fact that it tells you when enough data has been collected for each load point when doing a VTune (Cells turn Green) "Page 54"

With SEPST it doesn't have this feature.

    Cheers
