I agree, vapor blasting cleans up old Harley cases & heads like they came out the mold.
Walka,
thats great stuff, & in tullamarine its perfect for me,
if you can find that phone number & address that would be great....
Thanks..........
King chops
Water vapour blasting is the ultimate in cleaning cases, heads, and covers
It gives the cases a semi polished surface i would estimate a sisal mop no 2 before final polish with rouge and loose leaf wheel gets rid of all the crap
if you interested this is the link to the manufacturer of the equipment and some sample photos

Thanks Brucey,
Looks like a good process. Just what I need for various parts of the old sporty. I'll look for someone around Adelaide that does it.
walka,
,just got my computer back from the shop today , been 8 days getting it fixed up,
havnt been able to respond to anything,
ok...contacted john the day you posted up his number , took the heads out there next day
spent an hour looking at his stuff, & got a bit of a demo on the vaqua blast whozee whatsit machine
got a call next day to pick them up, real quick turn around , l should have taken before & after photos & posted them here to show the masses the differance, never mind.... l gave them a couple of coats of paint stripper to get as much of the powder coat? & or paint? from them ,got most off but in between the fins some remained,, he spent a coulpe of hours on them , they look as good as new now .. the ports, seats, guides, combustion chambers all good, it doesnt damage ant thing like that..
ive got other stuff to take to him in the future , id recomend john & his vaqua blast machine to anybody who needs metal clean ups , & it always helps when the blokes aproachable,& easy going...
Ian..Has he moved?? near me? that'd be good....
The Wheels i got none came out great, better than new
