Been reading about them in the states. the tri-bar ones are having heaps of issues.

Can you get some aftermarket LED's for it ?

 

These things are cheap as chips , It's only expensive when it comes in a HD box.

I'm sure if you are handy with a soldering iron you could fix them. I doubt you could blow all LEDs in the circuit, sounds more like a dry joint.

Good to hear they replaced them for you.

 

And yeah if they have changed the design then they must have had problems.
