     Hi all

I posted this in general forum but its better suited here

    HELP

Have been thinking of a bobber project

But not sure on the Costs of a ICV and what an engineer expects

I know I have to do all the 2010 ADRs but what other than the 550 rule is going to catch me out

    Option 1

Looking on the net I can buy a decent custom built bobber from the states with a brand name frame MSO and a Ultima or revtec engine for $7000 to $10,000

This is my preferred but how hard is it to get a existing bike passed by engineer?

    Option 2

Buy a roller from the us

Fit local engine budget prob  sportster <img src=" border="0" /> or triumph

    Option 3

    Mod a local bike

But this starts with a hefty outlay and a average finish

Any advice from people that have gone through this would be great

    Cheers Chopaweeza
It's your mob Flyrites iron head smoking guns iron head roller that got me interested
in a build in the first place.

On your build I see you have going - what would you estimate engineering cost to an average Joe like me would be ?

Any comments on importing a complete bike?

    cheers
