Hi all,
I've been reading a lot about engine case cleaners & am looking for your comments as to the best way to clean & keep clean the engine case on my ride. I have heard things like WD 40 can be used but am concerned that a flammable liquid like this could be dangerous. Any of your expert opinons would be appreciated. My engine is not what you call dirty or stained but has white polish marks around the tappet cover area which I would love to remove. Look forward to hearing your suggestions.
Cheers, Mick.

I use WD-40, and I like it. Spray it on, wait 10 mins and hose it off. Then wash ur bike with whatever.
Once your bike is clean and dry, you can spray some on and wipe the excess off with a rag, stops everything corroding and going shitty.

I use bowdens spray on detail on my night train. Even when I get back from a ride once the bike has cooled a quick spray and wipe over it comes up a treat. Abit expensive but worth every cent
I use Cobra Cote cocpit protector on my black motor, works well for me
Thanks for your replies, comments & suggestions guys. Got a lot of info from my enquiry, will try when ride becomes a little dirtier & let you know of the outcomes.
Thanks again & ride safe,
Mick
used Cobra Cote cocpit protector in the truck .well worth the money
Too good. Thanks mate
Make sure you clean your bike, then just use tyre shine. Been doing it for years after a bike shop told me that was all they used...works great. I found Meguiars chrome polish good for your chrome, incase you were interested...fantastic stuff.
