Air Filter Butterfly Removal

Hi Steve,
not sure if I get what you are suggesting. I think you are saying you are replacing the filter element but leaving everything else intact? If so, then removing the butterfly is not required.
If you are looking at changing air cleaners or putting on an aftermarket backing plate as Hogbag said, then suggest you just use an eliminator plug to address the eror code in the dash. there is more info on our website. just click on the Big Joe Choppers Logo at the top of the page. We also have them for the exhaust butterfly that will keep the butterfly open.
Cheers
Mick
