When I did the 'Rumble to the Rock' ride a couple of months ago, there were a heap of riders using them. They swore they were worth the money.

I suffer from an old pressure injury on my left butt cheek from driving mining machinery for years with shit seats, so like you, after an hour I'm suffering big time. (like someone sticking a hot knife into me butt cheek)

I will be getting one before I do the next big ride. As I say, if your gunna do something, be comfortable doing it. If you can afford it, get one.

I have 1, had it on the Yammy 1600 and never got a sore but when using it. Haven't tried it on the FATBOB yet but will do on the next long ride I do.  Got a bit sore going to Bunbury and back today with out it.  Worth the money I say, I got the cheaper version.

I stuffed my lower back years ago and haven't been able to sit on any sort of motorcycle seat for more than an hour before I have to get off 'cos of the pain.

Bought an Airhawk a couple of months ago and the difference has been amazing. I got the more expensive version, I know they're expensive but to me worth every cent.

Also absorbs a lot of the ride harshness of my 883c.
    Highly recommended.

Bluey, you can borrow mine for a while if you want to try before you buy.

Never used it on the Harley but on my sports bike, it helps but doesn't cure altogether the sore arse problem. Just puts it off for a while.

Not really a worry on a HD but when you're going for it in the tight stuff, the air moves from front to back as you go from power to brakes and back to power as your weight transfers around. It's a little offputting till you get used to it.
For just cruising, it was pretty good though.

No worries, next time I go on a ride, I'll try to remember to chuck it in the bag.

I bought one three years back, from Tom, in Mildura and its the best thing for your back, it stays on 24/7 and it is still working has well as the day I bought it. If your thinking of buying an air hawk buy the full size model it takes a bit of ajusting but once its right phark its good. Ring Tom on 1300 783 123 he's an old HOG man from SA and a top guy.
