I'm looking to change my 2005 Super Glide front end (forks, trees and wheel) to a Wide Glide front end.

    1. Does anyone have 2nd hand parts and are looking to sell?

    2. Also looking for all tips and hurdles fron anyone that has done the same work. And where you got your parts?

Ive been doing some checking out myself, got a 2005 super glide as well. You can get  10  in wide triple tree,s with 41mm forks ,fully chromed, with or with out rake from the states ,landed here in Oz for around 700 bucks  . Worth thinking about !

word has it that depending on how much rake you put in at the trees if any can really effect the handeling of the veh at arounf 100 to 120 kms and that your bearings will take a bashing.. so just watch out.. the more i look in to it the more there needs to be done.

Yea true , The difference between a dyna glide rake and a dyna lowrider rake is 4 deg. the ones i,m looking at have a 3 deg rake, so should be ok. I doubt the bearings would have a problem with that

I converted my 07 superglide 2 years ago, but my trees are made from solid billet 40mm aluminium from a company up on the gold coast

There were done in stock rake, but they make them in any 3 and 6 degree rake, and also with hidden top if you want.

I fitted a stcok softail wheel and I find the handling ok with stock rake, it gives a little more ground clearnce with the forwards
