Lookin at getting another Dyna but the Wide Glide im looking at has 59000kms on the clock. Is that too much for a 2006 model?

My 2006 Street Bob has 85,000 klm on it. 60,000 klm is nothing. Anyway I guess you'll be looking at putting a 95 ci kit in it. If it's a six speed make sure that it got the upgrade selector kit put in. Easy to tell, if the neutral light stays on or flickers it needs the selector refit.

The stock rotor sheers the bolts so replace that with the after market welded rotor housing. Do all this when you put the 95 ci kit in it.

depends on asking price - i waited till i found low kms for the right price - my 99 had 9000kms on it when i bought it in 2008 - and it was a great price - patience is the key

I recall some concerns about the 2006 Dynas from the US forum. There is something about the primary to gearbox mounting that makes this year unique. One less bolt, I think it was. This causes the inner primary bearing to fail. Or perhaps it was the quality of the bearing. Anyway, the kerfuffle caused me to stay away from 06 Dynas.
Worth doing some research, expecially if you're about to load up the engine.
