Dyna, Sporster, & V-Rod: somewhat Custom

A little bike we are working on now. This is a worked FXD frame, aluminum concentric/axle swing arm, my mid glide trees and caliper mounts with Ohlins R&T forks and Brembo race calipers. C/F wheels & Ducati tail section. A somewhat stock 131 CI that has been slightly warmed over and will have our first set of  Ohlins custom made one off TTX's rear shocks (the winingest shock on the track today) that will feature both retrofit-able front and rear Ohlins Mechatronic computer controlled dampening (rebound and compression) system. Of course my Red FXR will also get a bite at the apple. It still has a ways to go and if anyone is intrested in hearing about doing something a litle different, let me know if you wish to see more.

In the next few weeks we should have together the same suspension (Austrailian Bloke) in a 2010 Nightster w/a 100 CI motor and Turbo with 140 rear wheel foot pounds of torque. The problem is the frame is being torn apart and EFI issues as the throttle is more like a light switch, on (with uncontrollable wheel spin) or off.  This will be a fun little bike.  A really fun guy to talk to, makes working not working.

We are also participating in a Turbo V-Rod project from Finland. He has got the very same full Ohlins forks & shock treatment as the others. This project is from ground up and these are pictures of what it takes to do the job. Pardon the dust.

Nice work, gotta love a Harley that handles. Those BST wheels are a treat, I would like a set myself.
Can you give some more detail about the rear end? How you went about the modifications with photos would be nice.

The rear section is just hanging on trying to get some measurements and such to make the shock section.  We are going to do the very first set of TTX's on that bike.  The bike is not welded up completely to allow for our Fuc* ups and crap we did not think about.  These will be computer controlled as soon as Ohlins Sweden will allow us to release it and put it on.  You can see the new Ducati's with it on.  This system will allow the suspension to be set using GPS, wireless, telephone, photo recognition, and of course in the unlikely event you are not traveling with your pit crew (heven forbid) and you have to do it from the dash via your fingers.  What it means to the street rider who can not afford 4 guys in black suits, imputing data from a wireless laptop, while following you in a SUV, you will be able to change your compression and rebound on the fly for changing road conditions to keep ones fat ass comfortable.
