Finally get some time to tinker with the sporty, work is crazy busy shit!
Any how i was replacing the handlebar damping bushes. I noticed that the headlight eyebrow
has a high beam and oil pressure light. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this.
I’m a bit confused , is this the original or is it from an earlier model? Instead of being covered up by
the tacho/speedo set up is there a way i can retore the use of this and do away with the other?
Possibly just install a single speedo.
Can’t seem to find much info or pics anywhere.

Thats Stock,,, If you want to clean up you Bars, I sell a Acewell 65 mm Speedo, Tacho and it has all the Warning Lights Built in, It uses a Magnet from the Rear Wheel to run the Speedo , so you can get rid of the Cable. We have them in Chrome or Black and they are ADR Approved $300.00. You would also need to change the Headlight and make up a Mount for it, I can help you there too

Always wondered what "thread hijacked" meant, not being computer savvy... Ditto as to the above post.... Mine is a 86 1100 sporty. That setup you have walka looks good and getting rid of cables a bonus. My sporty will be setup for enduro.
Ok the Speedo is easy to wire up, to drive the Speedo It uses a Magnet that is mounted on to the Rear Brake Rotor and a Pick Up is mounted on to the Swingarm , The Gauge has a single tab to mount it any where you like.
On one Sportster I did, I took of the Eyebrow Mounted Headlight.and replacedit with a Bottom Mounted Light
I made a New Headlight Mount for a Bates Headlight that I has using,
It was very easy to make, you could do the same for any bottom mount Headlight.
