Hi all should be great weather & track traction should be ok, going to the track to get some practice this wednesday night 29th. be good to see anyone there, if you have never tried it but want to it's $50 & can win $300+ for reaction time. it's no different to having a race off the lights. but you don't get pinched & no speed limit.
need leather jacket jeans boots and gloves & aproved helmet i think snell 2005 au nz standard normal road licence but if have ANDRA licence get in $5 cheaper.
cheers
Went ok, only got two pass's then it rained, first pass was a while since i had been on the bike so rusty, did 0.010 reaction & a slack 2.0 sixty foot shifted early did not rev motor over about 5,800 did 11.8 118mph almost beat a young guy on a late model R1 he did a 0.820 reaction time & 10.8 just got past me on the line. then i raced a girl on a Ninga 9 i ran 11.6 118mph still not going that hard. then it rained so went home as 4am comes early.
i'll start riding to the track again soon so will be more in tune with the bike for more fun.
next wednesday night 6th Oct is what they call bike night plus will be daylight saving, hopefully warm so track should have better traction, in winter track is very cold so not as good traction, but no track preparation so its not perfect. hope to see more there
