hey all.
i,ve had a jap bike of some sort since I was 5. thats 41years, still luve to ride trails, have a DRZ440 worked up, and a CanAm 450 Quad and my boy rides a CRF250R.
up until 5-6 months ago I still thought of a Harley as a boat anchor.
well thats all changed. In the true spirit of bike riding I opened my mind to Harleys and the big V Twin.
I,ve seen and heard too many one eyed so called bike enthusiasts hang shit on another bike code, its got 4 wheels, need to put your foot down around corners can't stop etc.
Well I've bought a 2010 FatBob and LuVV it.
sure its not as good a handler as a jap cruiser or has the power of a superbike, but it's got an aura about it when you turn that motor on, the rumbling the feeling is fantastic.
nobody hangs shit on a bombed car when it idles as lumpy as. totally the opposite everyone melts with envy for a drive.
I'm honest enough to say I'm over the hard hitting power of a superbike, been there and done it. time for a change.
i"m hooked on the big V Twin.

Couldn't agree more!
thnx, I'm sure I'll see some of you around
Welcome on board fatster; I recognise an honest Harley conversion similar to my own.
A lifetime of opinions on Harleys - until I rode one... and then another and then another (gotta love Dealers) until I finally managed to buy one. Yep, nothin' but nothin' feels like a Harley!
welcome
Yeah Taffy, reckon I'll hang me hat up now and stick to ridin with the other "tractors"
The R1 rider wasn't gonna give up till he'd avenged himself, so he'll be happy now.
Have made my point, twice now! A few bewildered rice rocket jockeys!!!!!!!
G'day m8 & welcome ... ...
