Seein you bastards twisted my brain into buying a TTS here is my 1st question - are these all the parts I need to do the swap over or is something missing - as a shop done the original job of installing the thundermax?????
2nd question I paid $470 delivered to my door from the U.S. is that about the going rate???
Looks good to me the rear O2 sensor goes under the oil tank and the front one is in the plastic box between the front of the frame all the gear is there though you wont have much trouble with the tts and it has lots more options to use even a idiot like me managed to tune my bike in three runs.
P.S> HINT - just bite the USB to crimp it a bit so it does fall out on your tuning runs.
Yes bluey I was thinking the same thing myself - maybe too much readin not enough ridin so thats why I went out for a good blast today - just to justify what I've done in my own head......
and what I found - that hopefully the TTS will fix is......... between 0-80 in that area the TMax is a bit ratty and surges it seems to me that youve got to be up it - to keep its mind on the job
it is a bit heavy on fuel - and the temp was up around the 247F which is alot better than standard - however I fitted a jager oil cooler which bought it down 20-30degrees lower- am hoping the TTS will bring it down a little bit more
and I've only had 3 speedo stopages which is only turn off turn on to correct -
If I'm a bit quick on the start button and dont let the engine light go off it turns over a few times and back fires -
and if your feeding it to it and youve got to get off the throttle for some reason it has a backwave /shockwave high up in the exhaust where it has slight popping around the end of the exhaust - I know a fella thats going to fit it and put it on his dyno for me we'll see if this will sort these things out for me and I'll post up my thoughts from swapping in a couple of weeks to compare dyno charts
