Risers on Fat Boy, and tacho wiring (or new bars?).

The bars on my Fatty are fairly low. They are pretty good but it feels like it would be more comfortable if they were a bit higher. I reckon the tacho wiring won't be long enough though so maybe different bars would be better than risers. Any comments on this, or what is a good comfortable general purpose bar? (Note the dainty way I'm holding the camera - practising for when I have tea with the Queen).

     Thanks fellas.

sorry don't know about the cable length but I do reckon that some 4" or 6" risers, pull backs if neccessary would make it look better and probably more comfy from what You have said

    Hi mate,

I put 4 inch pull backs on my fatty and they fit without an issue - no need to extend wiring etc.

Question though... Did your 05 come with a hydraulic clutch, or is that a mod? my 2010 has cable!!

Standard Fatboy bars may be a little higher and come back further....

SERIOUS!! My front brake line does not have much left in it. I doubt I could go any higher. Maybe to 2010 models they got skimpy.

    Thanks Taffy.

That is one thing I wanted more than anything was the Radius. I would have eaten baked beans for a month if I had too. :)

I love the look and the sound - they are worth every penny!! :)

Ok - He will need the ones that I got. They are for 1.1/4 bars. They have been out on backorder for ages - but I managed to find a set somehow. They work well too. I think they are the only risers that HD make to fit 1.1/4 inch bars. They make a 4 and 6 inch versions I think.

I have a set of 4" pullback risers if you are interested. They are LA Choppers, not genuine HD. PM if you are interested.

Taffy - Make sure the risers you get are to fit 1.1/4 bars.  I nearly bought risers as they stated they were 1.1/4 inch.  Good I thought!! NOOOO!!  That was just how think they were and were only for a 1 inch clamp size.
