After having to remove the rear wheel to get the chrome sprocket cover on, I am thanking my decision to buy a service manual.

Without it, I reckon I would have been scratching my head over the brake calliper.

So if you are thinking about it - do it!!  It will be the best money you ever spend!

Ando - I used a technique that I learned from my Vstar. Take out the rear fender mount and loosen the front one. Then you just tilt the rear fender all the way up!! :)

Bob - I certainly did!! I noticed that there again was no loctite on any of the stock nuts and bolts. There is now!! I also bought myself a new Torque wrench the other day and tightened to spec. The sprocket bolts are interesting. They tell you to tighten to a set toque value and then tighten another 60 degrees.

I reckon they use air guns in the factory set to spec some how, can't see them pissing around with torque wrenchs like we do.

Just from what I have seen on utube etc.

    My $0.02 worth.
