Two years of my life were taken away ( hospital, operations, rehab) by a drunk driver in 88, give me 5 minutes locked in a cell with him and we'll call it quits.

I think that it should be ZERO as well, at least there is no room for " I thought that I would be ok". Its zero when you drive trucks why not cars?

I think we should have to wear a HI-ViS Vest when we have had a beer, even if walking. That will make everyone aware that we may be drunk and to stay clear.

Throw some Hi -ViS at it and problems go away.......don't they.

Some countries in Europe have a very good laws when it comes to DD.

Limit is 0% while driving, first offence you loose the licence for 24 months with a very heavy monetary penalty, second ofence is a minimum of 12 months imprisonment and the los of licence for life. Third and final offence is a very lenghty jail period (min 6 years).

In Bulgaria it was a death penalty for a fourth DUI offence !!!!

Yes Bulgaria is a member now, but I was giving this example while Bulgaria was still under the Comunism regime.
