I'd agree, just placed another order with MandM. They are good honest people to deal with.

hey hogbag let us know how u go with the 54s ive been keen on em since karl told me boutem .they have good lift and less duration then similar cams which creates good velocity ,so alot of torque ,are you skimin the heads putting s,e springs or what ,besides cometis gasket.any head work ,hey scotty any input will be welcome, whats the verdict on gears or chain ,replace cam plate ,whatever info from out there ill appreciate ,includes stix also cheers

good one ozzie the specs on the 54s stuck out as unusual but practical ,most cams similar lift had more duration and its hard to get good velocity with out twangin around with heads and the right compresson ,i am gonna get SE beehive springs ,adj pushies, and bit more compresson hopefully thats all have to do ,hogbags gonna keep me informed as well as scotty ,if u got any suggestments iam listening .trying to get a good mechanic is delaying me at moment after karls problems ,i agree thi motors dont agree to high revs .

well call it the ozzie 54 ,your knowledge is welcome mate for us who like nonstock motors as you know the cams are yhe pivot point of all performance upgrade i spend hours checking stats on cams that are mechanical freindly with rest of motor ,ive had my bike over 1 year and couldnt get excited by any cams on market they were all siimalar and most had narrow power bands but the ozzie 54 got me interested especially wiyh hoggybag putin one in and scotty, karl, puttin in good words about your 54 s

    Hi all!!

    Especially the Mandurah locals

Its been a long time since my last post with work and other distactions of life in general but hoping that i'll be back a lil more from now on. The membership heres grown so much!!

Now Scotty your post is great for guys like me gna do our own cam change so THANKYOU-)

Would you fellas reckon the andrews 54H is the go for a standard fxsct 08 modelwith V&H BSS, heavy breather and Tmax? I ride 1up mainly and like to ride hard and dont mind a bit of revving too. Used to have an evo with an EV46 and liked that a lot.

Is this cam a staight bolt in upgrade? and do i need to do the Timken bearing at the same time. I dont plan on doing any head work or other mods as yet.

    Thanks all

    Gav
