So apart from shitty gay color options, everything is the same?

Since they haven't landed who's to know?

Given they're only a year in hard to see why they'd change anything.

According to all the specs and what I can find out at the stealer, they are the same. Except 2010 comes in black (best colour ever) and not-so-bad silver. 2011 comes in black (thank f#ck) and oh-so-gay yellow.

The proximity alarm on my 2010 is brilliant. The fob operated one on my Fat Boy...hopeless after being used to the one on the Iron.

Sorry guys.. just guessing. Thinking serious of getting iron 2011. But in the end ordered Forty eight, due in Oct whereas Iron due in Nov... Iron is selling like hot cakes.  Should i switch back to an Iron?

oops somebody already got their offer in

Stick with the 48. It is virtually an Iron which HD took and installed all the usual mods that Iron owners do including flipped mirrors and 1200, plus extras like that ripper front wheel.

That is not to knock the Iron. I just started mine up again today and as always get very excited about it. What a ride for just hooning around. Not so great for distance or rough surface, but then neither is the 48.
