    Afternoon ladies ,

Need your opinion on a good learners bike for my lady .

She is sort of used to riding dirt bikes and wants to get onto a cruiser style 250 and get her lic .

Any suggestions on a good starter ?

    Thanks Jilli ,

We are in WA so i think its still 250cc for 12months then onto unrestricted .

i think the Virago is the go too , must be a good choice as they are hardish to find :)

check out Laro motorcycles. . top learners bike but still capable of 100 plus kmh. low to the ground and top value for money. price is 3990 plus on road. brand new comes with waranty and a real good service and parts back up.

Wtf, duh, wtf; a good starter would be a roadworthy dirt bike. She'll have plenty of time to get a decent cruiser after she's been through the learner stage and it will be WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY easier to get her license on that type of bike. Why would anyone try to get their licence on a bike that's harder to ride and they are not used to?

I see that HART have moved on from CB250s to 450s, a sensible idea noting that LAMs bike can be even bigger.

I have the Hyosung 650 GV Aquila, still LAMS approved but the closest thing that I was able to get to a Harley.  As I am taller the 250 would not have been comfortable for me.
