G'day I am toying with the idea of fitting a set of mini apes or Z bars to my bike which is a XL 1200R now I am looking at 10'' or maybe 12'' bars now I know I will have to get longer brake line I going to go to legal braided line anyway not sure if I can get away with the clutch cable but the worry is the wiring so what I am asking any members here who have gone down this road what did you have to do to your bike any replies would help cheers.

Ive got 10" Z bars on my iron, and the front brake line reached fine. 

The 12" might require extended clutch and brake lines...
