Hi all i was thinking about putting some heat wrap on my pipes more for th look than any HP gain had heard that it can wreck your pipes i live in the outback NW QLD we get + 40 nearly all summer anyway any feed back would be good.

Well, m8 about 4 years back i had 2 into 1 ciremic coated pipes ( sliver ) i wraprred some of that heat wrap bandage from head pipe to collector. after a while the bandage started to look a bit ratty, also i went back to stock duels with Sonic slip on.s. i took the heat wrap off and the silver ciremic coating had a bit of a brown cooked look. not bad but i'm sure i could have been polished off. so i'd say if thats what you really want go for it. thought i'd say that was on a 01 twin cam 95".
