Anyone in western australia know anything about swaping sportster frame with a rigid frame ? Not much info out on the net regarding this.
Seem's easyer to just change it and leave it licensed as stock sporty can't imagtion to many police knowing the difference.
Any thoughts or comments would be a great help got the bobber erge comming on.

    Cheers dicko

Which internet are you searching on?

There's plenty of info about rigid sportster conversion out there.  There's also lots on this site, see the Sportster section.  You can go replacement frame or weld on hard tail conversion.

Speak to Walka from VPW, they stock the frames.  The link to their site is in the ads at the top.

First of all - make sure your new frame makes at least 100 mm ground clearance and it has to be with seat on springs.
