revtech5/4 sprocket? and rear sprocket?

put a 5/4 in the 86cu flh and was running a 23/51 but its like taking off in 3rd gear with the old 4speed box back in.i have a 24t sprocket i was going to put on to replace the 23t and im after maybe the same take off power the old box had but after alot more top end and was looking at maybe a 46t for the back does this seem ok or should i be going a 25 on the front and what would i run on the back if someone could give me some ideas

hi what is a 5/4 ? what model FLH ? . the 1st gear in early FLH like shovel's had a very high numerical 1st gear strong take-off but slow on speed or distance , we normal use a super glide FX 1st gear opp , on 4 speedercheck out your engine sprocket teeth numbers ? 1st , but normal is about 23t/49t stroker shovel 86c.i. on a bike with broard spreed of power 4 gear.'s is enough 5or more is just for the EPA man

5/4is a revtech 5 speed in a 4 speed box and its a late 79flh
