hi everyone !! im getting a new bung welded in my tank for the pet cock and the fabricator thats doing it told me he used to use a guy in the mulgrave area here in melbourne who would

seal  petrol tanks for him for $100 odd dollars , does anyone know or has heard of this guy and can give some info please on his where abouts ???

Having used tank sealers, I would recomend running solder or silver solder around all the seams, rather than use tank sealer. Tank sealer is a bitch to remove if it ever breaks away from the tank.

To make sure it is well sealed just drop into your local radiator repair shop to test. Finally rinse the tank with metho to remove any water droplets left behind from the pressure test.
