I'm looking at possibly buying a 98 Road King Classic with 30,000 kms on it, it has the Evolution engine with fuel injection. The bike appears to be in pretty good condition and has been serviced on a regular basis. The owner wants $18,500 for it. Is this a fair price?

    thanks, Nilo

In 2005 I passed on a 1994 (first year) RK with 10,000 klicks on it. Asking price was $16,900.

6 months back i got my 98 roadking classic. just under 10,000 ks, still on original tyres. covered in road grime. looked terrible. but for 15g i thought it would be worth cleaning.. has turned out a brilliant bike. i had been looking for near 0n 12 months at 1450s etc. 15 was a good price for such low ks. i would think 18ish for those ks is a tad high but if you like it and happy ? choice is yours.

I dare to guess $16000.00 would be a fair price. For the asking price above, that bike would want to be blinged up heaps with some engine mods.
    Just my 2c worth.

Hi there-I just paid $15500 for a 98 Classic in good condition with 44000klm on clock-seemed a fair price. By the way does anyone know the default settings for the air pressure in the front and rear air shocks(I didnt get a manual). I believe they vary for solo and two up riding?
