G'Day boys. Quick question. What brands of white walls are there around. I have always just used the Dunlops, have heard about the Metzlers, but what else is on the market? Probably been done to death but what are the best tyre places in Sydney?

Running Avon Venoms ... seem sticky.

There is a mob called redvan that actually paint the white walls on any tyre,thats for those that cant get white wall tyres from manufacturers.
Do not know how long the paint last,but i think its $30.00 or $60.00 per tyre.
They are based in penshurst and liverpool Sydney.
There a mobil service and come to you.

Had them done on my GT by this mob and they do a good job, they say to do a few hundred k's on your new tyres before you get them whitewalled or any colour you want and no tyre shine on them before you do it

FL, have a look at their website and at the FAQ section, maybe some clues there as to why your mates stuff went bad. FYI, I would rather a proper WW than a painted thing though.
