Here’s a quick word of warning to anyone riding a Harley with an integrated steering lock / ignition barrel.

 

If you’re a dickhead like me – and are prone to losing keys; then when the day comes and you DO lose a key – don’t bother with a locksmith, just go to the dealer and grab yourself an authentic Harley Key.

 

If you’re a dickhead like me – and are prone to losing keys; then when the day comes and you DO lose a key – don’t think that putting a key ring on your next key is going to be a good idea.

 

The key ring flaps about in the wind, wiggling the cheap key around in the ignition barrel.

 

And one day, you’ll get to work – park – hit the kill switch – go to lock the steering column – and find the key’s missing.

 

Then you’ll probably have to fork out a few hundred bucks for a new ignition barrel.

 

But only if you’re a dickhead like me.
