i am looking into replacing all the bolts on my bike from chrome/stainless to black oxide bolts but i don't want to strip the bike down would rather buy and replace i know their are the hottoppers but anyone can do that so anyone know if i can get a list of bolts from some where or from others on the forum. it might sound a bit silly to some but it's what i want hopefully it can be done.

i know bubs customs has just done a bike that EVERYTHING was blacked out -bolts included - its like powdercoating but not as easily chipped etc and apparently handles the spannerwork better etc. give em a call for more info or google it.

If ya going to look at painting them try getting hold of a paint called "POR 15" it is really amazing stuff, will paint over any surface clean or dirty and will also convert rust without other prep work, it is heat proof and dries really f#@kin' hard and will not wear off.

Be warned it is not cheap, as far as I know it doesn't come in spray packs (at least last time I saw it) so you may want to look at getting an airbrush.
