Hard not to notice the trend in HarleyLand towards lower and lower machines, the latest being the Super-Low - gord knows how low that is but...I had crash bars fitted to my lowered 05 Fat Boy and thought at first I was just putting the boards down until I found lifting them made no diff and that all that grinding sound was the crash bars. Forget about "when in doubt power out" - when the crash bar digs in, it and you ain't goin' nowhere but wide. Guess I'll dump them or cut them back to the highway pegs but it's a dangerous oversight and something to consider if you are thinking of bars for your Softail Low or similar.
I wanted somewher to extend my legs, every, one has engine bars so I went for a Kuryakyn mustache bar. Was unsure about them in initially, but now wouldnt be without them.See link below for pics. There are a couple that show the bar but ot the best photo's. need to take some more.
