Sissy Bar - Did you use a relocation kit?

     Hi guys,

    With the detachable sissy bar HD reckon you need to use the turns relocation kit, but the pics I have seen, they look ugly.

    I have read that I can shave the removable brackets. Mine are chrome and I am very interested to know if you have done this, and how you did it, AND if it worked?

    Any pics would be fantastic.

    no made my own hidden mounting plates that slip in between the fender and fender rails just by loosening the bolts, on or off in a minute

    Hmm Ok. I have seen some guys that shave down the side plate to fit. These have all been the black ones that can be painted. Mine is chrome, so not sure on the result of that.
