Hi Lads

So I live in a cold climate and have gone the sissy route and installed some Heat Demons inside my bars on my Fatboy.  They work great, but when I was installing them I noticed that there is this female red plug buried behind the headlight that is not connected to anything.  Any ideas? 

Everything works OK so I dunno what its for.  I would have thought if it is spare that HD would have covered up!!  It is open to the weather and I can see the terminal.

Hmm Maybe!! But why did they leave it just hanging out and not wrapped?

I have my service manual on order - so maybe it will solve the mystery.
