I don't use a cover for the actual filter, just got a few homemade decorative ones.

I even rode in quite heavy rain once for about 4 hours and was worried I might experience some problems but the bike still ran fine.

I did make sure I used the recharge kit on it straight away after and will invest in a rain cover that is available for them.
