Quick TTS questions

    Hi Lads,

    Just a quick one...

A nice large box turned up today with some goodies... notably my Kurry corsair kit and TTS.  My Big Radius are not due for a couple more weeks yet, but I would love to get this Airkit on.

Can I stick the air kit on and load a map that will suit the Corsair with Outer Cycle Slash Cuts???

    Cheers

     Thanks Ando,

Is there a map readily available for it?  Or will there be one with the TTS?

Do they supply some maps with it?

Thanks mate for all your help, and I am sorry if these questions have been asked a thousand times!!

Man - I tell ya - The Corsair is bigger than I was expecting!!!

There is a nylon type sock over the filter itself, is it really needed - it makes it look crap I reckon! And how do air kits like this go in the wet?

    Cheers

Ando - I have managed to save my stock config and am about to load QD-176. However you previously mentioned about switching of the AC and AE and then loading AE-176 MAP

I can't seem to find that option in the software - also keep in mind I still have my outer cycle slash cuts on with the Kurry Corsair.

Can I ask why I load the second map over the top of the first one?

    Cheers

Ok - so should I disable the exhaust while I run the stock headers and outer cycle slash cuts? Do I want to disable them, and why dude??

Ando Ok - here is an update

I have loaded the maps as discussed, but I am not sure things are as they should be.

The idle at startup is off the chart!!  It is not just idling high - its off the chart!!   So much so that it scared me and made me turn the bike off.   Now I am not exaggerating - its WAY too high.

    So here is the setup....

Kurry Corsair Airkit with Solenoid disconnected.

Stock headers with Outer Cycle Slash Cuts

Loaded  Map QD 176 and disabled Air Intake and Enabled Active Exhaust.

    Loaded AE 176

    Something is obviously not right.

Any ideas??  Are these the right maps for my 2010 Fatboy?

Hmm... I wonder if I have loaded the right map....AE 176 does not mention anything about an air kit in the description.

ANDO - Do you think this is the right map?

yep I did check that. I can hear that SNAP sound when I let go of the throttle - so I don't think that is it - but I will have another look.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

    MY BAD - FUCKIT!!!

When you install the Kurry Corsair there is a "Mini Airkit" that you need to connect to a couple of Banjo breathers on the cylinders. Then you have to stuff that little air cleaner up and under the tank. Now there is not much room under there and when I pushed it in it popped off a connector that connects directly to the back of the air intake. GRRR!!!!!

So after pulling the Kurry kit off again I found it, fixed it, reloaded the maps and BINGO - idle good now!!

    Ok - NOW....

    I just found PZ176 002 B1

It states its for 1580 A/C and Breather Kit and Performance touring Mufflers.

    What do you guys think??

Yeah - I will see how it runs today - I will take it for a spin. If it seems to be going OK I will Vtune and go from there.

I have to do it all again when the Big Radius pipes turn up.
