Just wanted some feed back about tyres for 09 up roadking, have read info about Avons, Dunlops, Continental, Pirelli, etc. They all clam best handling, grip wet or dry and long tread life. So I thought I would put it out there for some real opinions, cheers

Pirelli mate fitted a pair to his fatboy and went to Isa and back and loved them we are in Darwin i will try a set next time on my Ultra as Dunlop don't give you the service, had a flaw in my back tyre and they made it so hard i just gave up.

Still have the original Dunlop 407's on mine, just clcked over 13,000kms, back still has a couple thou left, front about 2/3rds worn.

Pretty happy with that on a big heavy bike. Most of the km's have been done on 600km + days .

Already have my new 407 rear ready to roll for the trip to the Island in October, waiting for a new front to get here soon.

    Cheers

I have had 3 rear tyres on my bike since new (55,000km now) all Dunlop 407, all did in excess of 16,000 km. On the front I hhve used 2, they are Dulnop 408 and have gotten well in excess of 20,000 km.  I ride long distances regulerly and also a far amount of shorter rides as well.  I find these tyres hold well in the wet and dry.

    My 2 bobs worth.
