i wanna paint my tins to finish my girl off , but im looking at maybe getting some other tins and tanks and keep the originals spare - ive got a 99 wideglide so will any softail tank fit? 1 piece or 2 ? thanks in advance fellas

I got new tins primed from the factory.
Was pretty cheap used M and M cycles in the states.
I have an Iron so not sure about a softy.
Plenty of after market stuff out there but i have heard that after market tanks can be unreliable as far as the inside sealing goes.
Im no expert though
Walka may know he is the master builder.

I just got a new Sporty tank on ebay there is heaps around
dunno if they'll fit your bike but lots on Ebay ive been looking out for mine a while but finally found one in australia.
be patient one will turn up.

I   was looking at painting my Fatboy a while back  and ended up buying new tins  painted to my colour from colormania in the usa delivered here  for around 1400, ( cheaper than some of the quotes i had locally for paint alone. Now have two sets to swap when i get bored. Tins arrived last week but are stuck in depot at Rocky airport which is closed due to floods so cant pick them up for a week or two
