Why in gods name did Harley ever put the indicators on the bars??

I relocated mine tonight on my Fatty, to the forks. Took me 20 minutes - but I gotta wonder why they don't put there from stock.

Seems like just about everybody relocates them anyway!!

It was really easy actually.

I grabbed a couple of bolts that bolted straight into the fork nacelle, and cut the head off. Fortunately this is the same size and thread for the indicators. I screwed that in which left a bit sticking out. I then used two nuts. Once to secure the bolt shaft to the fork, and the other to use a s locknut for the turn signal.

The cables are VERY easy to identify coming out of the bars. Just snip, resolder and heat shrink! The only pain was opening the control switch housings. Other than that - very easy!

I am planning in putting a light bar on the front eventually - when the Minister for Finance and Pleasure gives me my next allowance!!

But I could not handle them on the bars, so they had to go somewhere. Until I get the light bar I am putting the visors on today - so that will tidy them up a little.
