Kiwidave, the only thing I could find regarding clutch/tranny requirements is in Section 9 dot point 2. There must be a clutch capable of disengaging the engine from the tranny at any speed. If it was pre-1975 you wouldn't have to be concerned about turn indicators...

Hi mate, pre 89 u only need a blue slip I think. I would suggest u may have to change the controls back to stock, but maybe get Bryan to ask Richard at American Made Cycles. He can do the inspection there also.

In Vic you just need a VASS Report if the Bike has Import Approval, Squid can do it for from you and I think George at Python can also do them
