Hi lads just wondering does anyone know about LAM approved harleys in QLD? im talking about 883's, my mum has one and has a good idea that they are approved but not completely sure if anyone has any info on this please let me know its for  QLD to. thanks.

For the Queensland current list. Harley's ain't on it.

Duzzin mean YOU couldn't submit an application to get them approved - but your chances aren't all that good would be my guess.

LAM approval is not something you do yourself - it is a list the gummint releases of bike they deem eligible.

Can definately ride an 883 on learners here in Canberra.  Have seen two Irons now with L plates in the last couple weeks here.  Stopped and talked to one guy and he litteraly just picked it up/got it registered and put his L plates on that morning (just the other day).

Better ride damn quick and damn far, pricks got no sense of humour from my experience.

Must have changed in QLD, I did a one day course in 2007 and bought my 883 the next weekend,never had a drama till I moved to sydney, went to do the righty and change the rego and they told me I couldn't ride it for another 6 months!!
so I replied "see you in 6 months then champ!

Thats quite an unbelievable list of Harleys you can have on your L/P's, what stops people from pretending to live in the ACT and riding in other states? I take it if you are on you L's or P's in the ACT you can still ride/drive in the other states.
