Just happen to run across your HD forum and just want to introduce myself, My name is Jim and I live in Tracy California, around 35 miles east of San Francisco. I have owned several Harleys and currently ride a 2006 Street Glide. However unfortunately it is in the repair shop getting fixed due to a drunk driver running into me on the freeway in Sacramento Ca.

Just so you all know I only received scraped road burned elbows and a few bruises on my back side. I consider myself very lucky that my injuries were so minor.

I was scheduled to receive my bike today but it was running late and I told the repair person to hold off until Monday due to the heavy traffic we have traffic we have in the Bay Area.

I have been reading your forums and find them very interesting and informative. Seem like no matter where Harley riders are from, we all have the same passion for the brand. Take care and ride safe all.

 

P.S I don't know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods, but its Sunny and 88 degs. here.

 

Loved San Francisco when I was there. Went up and down the west coast, and loved California. Welcome to the Aussie Forum.
BTW, It is cold and clear at present currently 55 degrees getting to 66 degrees.
