I am wondering how many of you have decided to use one oil in engine,tranny and primary ?? I am using Amsoil in all three but can you use Mobil 1 V twin or any other synthetic oils in all the holes ?? I googled Mobil and found information that said use the manufacturers suggested oil in the tranny and V Twin in the engine and primary and then found other info (again from Mobil) that said it is now ok to use Mobil 1 V Twin in all three holes ????
I changed all my oils and used Mobil 1 v-twin in motor, gearbox and primary.
I have a few mates who have done the same and have had no problems.
It's all personal choice and up to you.

Not sure I would want to be putting a synthetic engine oil in my Primary either.

I dropped Amsoil 20w50 in the motor and primary and Amsoil 75w/90 in the box over the weekend, sweeeet.
I have noticed a definite improvement with the fully syn in the box after she has warmed up, still got the clunk in first at cold.
